This isn't you ordinary band camp. Music Camp provides instruction for youth
entering grades 6 to 9 who have had at least one year's experience playing a
band or orchestra instrument, or are vocalists.
We've got praise and folk music, instrumental music, campfire songs, new
instrument workshops, improvisation, archery, crafts, swimming, canoeing, and
great food.
Each day we have several rehearsals with the band or orchestra, an all-camp
choir session, all-camp guitar instruction, and an opportunity for each camper
to learn a new instrument.
The program theme is to share religious and spiritual beliefs of both campers
and staff, and to learn how music can express these beliefs. We offer a
blessing at each meal and have a reflection time at evening campfires.
