BURTON'S CENTENNIAL
We have chosen Sunday, June 14, 2009, at 3:00 in the afternoon for the
celebration.
We invite you to come to Camp and join us in celebrating this incredible
treasure that we all share. A place that has changed untold numbers of lives in
it’s 100 year history. A place that has nurtured generations of children and
adults with welcoming arms.
We are so grateful that Camp continues it’s mission, begun those 100 years
ago by people who had the foresight to see and set aside the beauty that is
Camp Burton.
We ask you to come share the beauty, the food, the music, the stories from now
and then, and the fellowship with us as we celebrate this day.
SUMMER CAMPS
It’s time to register your family, your kids and grandkids for Summer Camps at
Camp Burton.
This years dates are:
Jr. Camp — grades 3-5 — Jul 5-9
Jr. Hi Camp — grades 6-9 — Aug 16-22
Sr. Hi Camp — grades 9-12 — Jul 12-18
Youth New Horizons for disabled youth
— ages 13-24 — Jul 12-17
Family Camp — all ages — Aug 2-8

OUR VOLUNTEERS
We’d like to thank Roy Bumgarner, one of our Youth New Horizons volunteers,
for the beautiful signs that he’s made for the Retreat Center and Lodge
entrances. Roy donated his time and equipment to make the signs and he
received the wood as a donation from a local Island business — L.S. Cedar.
We are fortunate to have such generous friends.
